It’s airplane calibration day! Every Spring we test our aircraft with very sophisticated equipment to ensure appropriate droplet size, swath width, and swath fullness. We learn something new every year from the leading experts in the field. These airplanes are dialed in and ready to go for the season! It’s just another small but necessary thing that we do to make sure our customers are getting the best possible application. Our spray testing data is always available to any of our customers or growers. If you aren’t one of our customers, or drones are your chosen aerial application method, ask to see your operator’s actual spray testing data. Not what’s published by the manufacturer, but what that exact aircraft/drone is calibrated for. This requires the operator to take his equipment to a calibration event. Any industry professional should incorporate this process and have proof of it!
