July is nearly here and you know what that means? Our Veterans Shooting Sports Range Day is almost here! Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 19th at 11 am to be at the Roush Fish & Wildlife Area Shooting Range for food, fellowship and of course, shooting! Call our office to pre register your group or just yourself! Raffle Tickets are on sale starting Friday!!!

Many have been asking what exactly the Purple Heart represents and the significance of the Monument. So here ya go!

The Purple Heart is awarded int he name of the President of the United States to any member of the Armed Forces who while serving under competent authority in any capacity with one of the US Armed Service after April 5, 1917, has been wounded or killed. The Purple Heart differs from all other decorations in that an individual is not "recommended" for the decoration; rather he or she is entitled to it upon meeting specific criteria.

Please continue to spread the word on what we are trying to accomplish with our Purple Heart Monument. We are inches from making the next payment on the Monument but we still have a long way to go!! Than you all for your time and consideration!

The donations for our Purple Heart Monument are slowly creeping in but we need YOUR help to reach our goal of $32,300 by July 1st! Please contact us to donate today! You are making a difference to those who have already served, currently serving or will serve in the future! Charitable Contribution Receipts will be issued for tax purposes as well.
