Photos from Brewster Pierce Shcool. Gary Starcheski has been renting the Town Hall to teach Tang Soo Do since 2012. Back then we just had a port-o-let out back. A lot has changed.. For his 70th birthday, he challenged himself to break 70 boards, all painted by kids from the school. It was also a fundraiser for the VT Food Bank and an organization that pays for kids who need help taking Tang Soo Doo classes. It was entertaining and informative, very fun. Great job Gary!

Gracie is modeling our new dual, black-out/anti glare, shades upstairs. We are now able to host daytime presentations and pickle ball players will have light & no glare. This was made possible by a generous grant from the Senior Center, matched by an anonymous donor and the Huntington Town Hall Fund.

The upstairs plastering project is done! The plaster has to cure & then be painted. We're thinking of a very light tan. White is too bright for stage events. The odd shape by the door is part of the original Modern Woodsmen of America seal. Our intent is to figure out what the rest of it looked like & restore it. We can't wait to show off the new look as soon as it's safe to gather again.

Thank you to Aaron and Meadow Worthley for scraping and painting our entry and stairway! It looks so much more welcoming.

And in additional exciting news( hey you take it where you can get it these days 😄), the upstairs plastering starts this week. When you next come in, the ugly fake wood wallpaper (pictured)which was under ugly fake wood panelling, will be gone. The walls will be plastered as they orginally were.

We are looking forward to the time we can all get together again.
