WILD WEDNESDAY MOVIE - FEATURING "SENIORS"
We have a great movie planned for our November 18th movie, Seniors! We're especially excited about our Wild Wednesday Movie Day because we're featuring a movie created right here in our own community by Huntington University.

When a rebellious high school senior is assigned community service at a retirement home, he never expects to find himself on a secret treasure hunt alongside a stubborn war veteran and a group of adventurous seniors! Along the way, unlikely friendships are formed, lives are changed, and everyone discovers that it's never too late to find purpose, belonging, and a little adventure. What makes this movie even more special is that it was produced by Forester Film, Huntington University's very own film production program! Huntington University students worked alongside professional filmmakers and Hollywood actors, including John Rhys-Davies (The Lord of the Rings) and Paris Brosnan.

The film even earned the Grand Prize for Best Feature Film at the 2026 Indiewood Film Festival! πŸ†

After much discussion, we regret to announce that our upcoming Soup Bowl & Bake Sale Vendor Event for Friday October 23rd has been canceled due to insufficient vendor participation. While we were looking forward to bringing everyone together for this event, we unfortunately did not receive enough registrations to move forward as planned.

We sincerely appreciate those who expressed interest, signed up to participate, and supported our efforts. Your willingness to be involved means so much to us! Although we're disappointed, we look forward to creating more opportunities to bring our community together in the future. We cannot wait to see everyone next month at our Holiday Vendor Event at HNHS!

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of the Huntington County Council on Aging! ❀️
