Fantastic job by members of Chester Volunteer Fire Department, Huntington Fire Department MA and Russell Fire Department for getting a quick knock down on a structure fire in Chester, thanks to their work the structure was saved along with most of the belongings inside. A1 responded with Paramedics Neal and Robert L. to the scene and provided fire rehab services. Thankfully no one was injured.

HCAA had the great pleasure of visiting one of the schools in our service area, and it was fantastic to see both our providers and the students having an incredible time - the sirens and airhorn were undoubtedly the stars of the show.

It's river race day!!! Hilltown ambulance will operate two paramedic-level ambulances today. A1 will serve our member communities, while A2 will provide medical support for the river race. Our providers staffing the ambulances today have a combined 50 years of EMS experience!!

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Deputy Fire Chief Thomas Ackley. Ackley served the town of Blandford for over 6 decades on the fire department. In addition of highway superintendent, Hilltown community ambulance and member of select board. His love and dedication to the town of Blandford will always be unmatched. His legacy will forever be etched in the history of the Hilltowns communities.
