We are relieved to report that the missing juvenile has been safely located and is now in custody.

We appreciate the assistance and cooperation of the community, as well as the efforts of all personnel involved in bringing this situation to a safe resolution.

College Street will be temporarily closed from Cumberland Boulevard to Alabama Street beginning at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, and will remain closed until the conclusion of the funeral service honoring Jacob Gamble.

This closure is necessary to allow family, friends, and fellow first responders to safely honor a true hero.
We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation during this time.
