Redstone Federal Credit Union Appreciation Day

What an incredible day celebrating Redstone Federal Credit Union Appreciation Day with United Way Madison County! 🥳💚
We were honored to visit 15 local Redstone Federal Credit Union branches alongside President & CEO Daniel Kasambira, board members Rachel Stinson Shaw and Elizabeth Crow, and past chair Terri Bentley, along with Yvette Banks, a longtime supporter of United Way.

A special thank-you to Terri Brewer Bentley, whose vision and leadership as past chair helped bring this celebration into reality. We are grateful for her commitment to United Way and her belief in the power of partnership.

We are also especially grateful for Kevin Hall and Wendy G Edmonds for their leadership and instrumental role in making this overall visit possible — with Kevin leading the charge across the branches and Wendy providing key support every step of the way. Thank you both for helping make this celebration so meaningful!
Under the leadership of CEO Joe Newberry, Redstone has established something truly special: a culture of giving, a culture of service, and a culture of making a difference. Their commitment goes far beyond financial support. It is woven into who they are and how they serve the communities they call home.
Redstone is a powerful example and a true testament to what servant leadership looks like in our community. Their generosity and partnership help strengthen lives, create opportunities, and make Madison County a better place for everyone. 💚

Redstone is proud to be United Way of Madison County’s #2 donor, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued investment in our mission and our community.

Thank you, Redstone Federal Credit Union, Joe Newberry, and the entire Redstone family, for living out what it means to give, serve, and make a difference!

United Way's Ride United Program Celebrates a 40K Milestone!

On Wednesday, August 26, United Way of Madison County celebrated a meaningful milestone! 40K rides were provided through its Ride United Transportation Access Program.

This milestone reflects thousands of lives supported through transportation access to medical care, employment, education and essential services.

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended the celebration, those who presented and shared their real-life Ride United stories. We could not accomplish this great milestone without our supporters, donors, and sponsors. Thank you!

United Way Madison County looks forward to celebrating future milestones. If you would like to learn more about Ride United, please visit https://uwmadisoncounty.org/get-help/access-to-transportation/

Today, all of us at United Way Madison County take a moment to honor and celebrate the remarkable legacy of Dolly Parton. Her enduring dedication to children and literacy has left a profound mark on our community.

Because of her vision through the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, we currently have the honor of delivering books to over 10,000 children across Madison County. We were recently privileged to speak with FOX54 News Huntsville to highlight the incredible impact her work has made on our local families and young learners.

On behalf of our President & CEO, Daniel Kasambira, and the entire United Way Madison County team, we want to express our deepest gratitude to our community for supporting this mission and keeping her passion for early childhood reading alive.

Thank you, Madison County, for walking alongside us in honoring such a beautiful legacy. 💙📚

Today, like so many of you, United Way of Madison County mourns the loss of Dolly Parton, a beloved champion for children and literacy.

Through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, she helped place millions of free books into the hands of children ages 0–5, including over 10K books to families across Madison County.

Her legacy reminds us of the lasting impact we can make when we invest in children, families, and communities.
