Join Madison County 4-H on a trip to Huntsville Botanical Garden on June 4th from 10 AM-3 PM! This will be a guided tour where 4-Hers will get to explore the gardens with an expert educational guide. Please bring a sack lunch, and water! We will be eating lunch in the Garden. There will be free time after where participants will have time to play!

*Last Call for Ag Career exploration application*🌳🐮Apply now for Sand Mountain & Beyond!! 🐝🔬
Sand Mountain & Beyond is an opportunity for rising 6-12th graders to learn more about all of the amazing careers in agriculture, natural resources and STEM in their communities!
There will be 5 field trip days where youth will visit businesses and learn from professionals about their specialization across Northeast AL, and a graduation in summer 2027 at Auburn University. All events will occur in the 2026-2027 4-H Club Year.
💲Cost: $120 (includes transportation, meals, and a T-shirt)
⚠️Space is LIMITED!
📝Applicants must include a brief essay about their interest in the program and career path that interests them most (agriculture, natural resources, family and consumer science, STEM) and MUST be original work (🚫NO AI🚫).

🌾We would love to invite you to our annual 4-H Pig Squeal Show & Auction happening THIS Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the TN Valley Research and Extension Center!

These kids have been raising hogs since January and are ready to show off all their hard work. Showmanship presentations will start at 11:30 am and the pig auction will start at 2:30 pm.
**A processor will be on site, you will not be taking possession of a pig!**

🐷 Kinley, Colton, & Tanner Are Off to a Great Start! 🐷
We recently enjoyed a home visit with the Foreman crew! Kinley and Colton are third‑year participants in the Madison County 4‑H Pig Squeal Project, and Tanner is joining us for his first year. After spending the past couple of years learning from his big brother and sister, Tanner is excited and ready to show what he’s learned!

🐷 Eden Is Off to a Great Start! 🐷
We recently enjoyed a home visit with Eden, a first‑year participant in the Madison County 4‑H Pig Squeal Project—and she has an incredible support team behind her!
Her dad is working hard to help secure buyers, her mom (a former 4‑Her) is guiding Eden through the day‑to‑day care of her pigs, and her grandparents are generously allowing her to raise them on their property. With this kind of dedication and family support, we know all that hard work will pay off on show day!
We’re excited to have Eden join us this year and can’t wait to see her hard work shine at the show.
