Continuing to Train. Continuing to Grow.

Earlier this month, our member Mathew successfully completed Swift Water Rescue II training through TARS! 🌊πŸ’ͺ

We’re proud to see our members continuing to build their knowledge, skills, and capabilities through advanced training opportunities.

And we’re not finished yet! This weekend, another one of our members will be attending the final Swift Water Rescue II course of the year, continuing our commitment to having trained and prepared personnel ready when they’re needed most.

Congratulations to Mathew on completing the course, and best of luck to our member heading to training this weekend! Rescue Company MediaTennessee Association of Rescue Squads

πŸ”₯ National Volunteer Firefighter Day πŸ”₯
Today, we proudly recognize the dedicated volunteer firefighters who selflessly serve and protect their communities.

Although our Rescue Squad is not a firefighting organization, several members of our squad also serve as volunteer firefighters. We’re especially proud of their commitment, sacrifice, and willingness to answer the call, whether serving with the fire department or our organization.

To our members, all volunteer firefighters, and those we are honored to serve alongside: thank you for your courage, dedication, and service to our communities! 🚸 BACK TO SCHOOL = BACK TO SAFETY 🚸

As students across Madison County head back to the classroom, the Huntsville-Madison County Rescue Squad reminds everyone that roadway safety starts with each of us.

🟒 Slow down in school zones.
🟒 Stay off your phone and eliminate distractions.
🟒 Watch for children crossing streets, walking, and riding bicycles.
🟒 Stop for school buses with flashing red lightsβ€”it’s the law.
🟒 Allow extra time for your commute and be patient.

A few extra seconds behind the wheel can make a lifetime of difference for a child and their family.

Drive like their lives depend on it… because they do.

From all of us at the Huntsville-Madison County Rescue Squad, we wish every student, teacher, bus driver, and school employee a safe and successful school year.
