🎣 The 42nd annual Wally Vess Youth Fishing Rodeo is tomorrow, June 6, from 7-10 a.m. at the Brahan Spring Park Lagoon. Anglers ages 6-12 have the chance to hook catches that include 19 tagged fish worth $100 and one grand prize fish worth $1,000! Registration and check-in are available at the event.

The program is open to all skill levels, ages 12 and up and meets Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7 p.m.
Athletes tread water, pass, defend and score without ever touching the bottom of the pool. It's fast, competitive and open to all!

🎣 Wally Vess Youth Fishing Rodeo
Young anglers ages 6-12 can cast a line from 7-10 a.m. at Brahan Spring Park Lagoon for a chance to reel in tagged fish and prizes. RSVP: https://bit.ly/4dZ8J0m

🐾 Fitness in the Park: Downward Dog Yoga
Stretch, relax and spend time with a furry friend from 9-10 a.m. at Butler Green. Join Sheila and Huntsville Animal Services for a dog-friendly yoga session. Don't have a dog? You can borrow an adoptable pup for the class! RSVP: https://bit.ly/49wKvJB

🌱 Greet, Gather and Grow
Head to the Dr. Robert Shurney Legacy Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for an afternoon of connection, community and fun featuring food trucks, inflatables, games, hands-on activities and local resources. RSVP: https://bit.ly/4aaWsov

🎒 After School Bash
Hosted by the Huntsville Police Department, Huntsville Parks & Recreation and Free 2 Teach, this community celebration takes place from 4-8 p.m. at Big Spring Park. Enjoy bounce houses, interactive public safety demonstrations, food trucks, vendors and live entertainment.

Join Parks & Recreation for Greet, Gather & Grow on Saturday, June 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dr. Robert Shurney Legacy Center. This free, all-ages event brings the community together for a day of fun and connection.

Please join us at our next event on Saturday, June 6, at 9 a.m., at Butler Green, for Downward Dog Yoga with Shelia. Bring your own dog to stretch with or enjoy getting to know a few furry friends from Huntsville Animal Services.

🛼 Calling all teens! Lace up your skates and get ready for a night packed with music and nonstop fun at the Spin & Skate Teen Jam.

The free event on Saturday, June 13, from 4-7 p.m. at the Stoner Park Skating Rink is a perfect opportunity for teens ages 13-18 to enjoy an evening of classic summer fun. The event is open to all skill levels. Bring your own skates or use free on-site rentals available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Concessions will be available for purchase from local food vendors.
