The Sheriff’s Office has been approached about the sales tax signs that are posted in the county about keeping crime out. We want to address this for you, this is NOT a new sales tax, this is a tax to continue on from a vote that was passed in 2001 to start construction and operate the new jail. This is a continuation of the current sales tax which funds to operate the jail and to pay off the bonds used to build and operate the jail and courthouse. We would appreciate your vote of YES on the next ballot. Please share this post.

Yesterday the Sheriffs Office along with North Missouri Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in Clifton Hill. A pound of ma*****na was seized and George Fotovich was arrested for R**e and distribution of a controlled substance. He is currently in Jail with a bond of $75,000 cash only.
