We visited Joseph Anderson ‘11 at his Chic-fil-A franchise location in Houston at I-45 and Almeda. Joseph will receive the Outstanding Young Alumni Award at this year’s 2026 Distinguished Alumni Gala.

While attending SHSU he was a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., The Exceptional Men of the Talented Tenth, Inc., NPHC, SHSU Track & Field, and was the 2011 Homecoming King.
