Join us at Rodeo Bar & Grill on Tuesday, August 25th for a Spirit Night benefiting our HHS Welding Program!

Dress Code Reminder!

Following dress standards helps sustain a welcoming and focused learning environment. Huntsville ISD is committed to creating a supportive space where every student feels confident, respected, and free to express who they are.

DO’S
- Pants, shorts, and skirts worn at the natural waist
- Length: Must reach fingertip length or longer in both the front and back
- Jeans with holes: Holes above fingertip length are allowed ONLY if worn over leggings
- Shirts must extend to meet the pants at all times (sitting, standing, or walking)
- Regular street shoes, sneakers, or closed-toe shoes (must be worn inside the building)
- Keep it clean, stay compliant, and have a great school year!

DONT'S
- No hats, caps, or head coverings of any kind
- No hoods will be worn while in the school building
- No pajamas, pajama pants, or house shoes/slippers
- No halter tops, half-shirts (crop tops), or see through/sheer clothing
- Clothing shall NOT include profanity, hate speech, explicit content, references to drugs, ni****ne, alcohol, or weapons
- No low-hanging pants or visible undergarments

The wait is almost over, Hornets!

We are counting down the days until an exciting new school year begins! The first day of school for Huntsville ISD is Tuesday, August 18, 2026, and we can't wait to welcome our students, families, and staff back to campus.

A new year brings new opportunities to learn, grow, make memories, and continue Building Champions throughout our district. Whether you're starting kindergarten, beginning your senior year, or joining the Hornet family for the first time, we're ready for an amazing year together!

Get Excited, Hornets!

The countdown is on—only 4 Saturdays remain until the first day of school!

We are preparing all of our campuses and are excited to welcome all of our students back to campus and kick off another incredible year of Building Champions! We hope your summer has been filled with fun, relaxation, and special memories with family and friends.

As you prepare for the new school year, remember: Attendance Matters! Every day in the classroom is an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow. Students who attend school consistently and arrive on time are better positioned to achieve academic success. When scheduling appointments or planning trips, please consider our school calendar to help maximize valuable instructional time.
