“Elections have consequences, and there is a choice that America is facing in this November: We know that there is a fork in the road, and as a country we are either going to take the left fork of socialism and crime, higher taxes, open borders, and inflationary spending, or we’re going to take the right fork, and we are going to have a country with a strong economy and secure borders and safe communities in the strongest nation and most respected around the world,” said Whatley. “When we look at the issues that matter for our voters here in North Carolina, for everybody who lives in North Carolina, we can’t have a bigger differential, a bigger separation than you will see between Roy Cooper and me. This is a state, and we need to fight for a strong economy.”
