John Wiacek has been the real face and boots on the ground for Hurley’s Highway Department.
John served as our Deputy Highway Superintendent — with distinction, loyalty, and fairness. He was out there with the crews. He fielded emergencies and handled storms. He steered clear of politics and tried to lead the department with transparency, honesty, and full commitment. He did the job.
