Diana was born and raised in Hurley, and recently retired after working at local post offices for 35 years, the last 30 at the Hurley Post Office. I have served on numerous town boards, committees, and organizations. I was honored to be elected to the Hurley Town Board in 2023; served a total of over 20 years on the town’s Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) and Planning boards; a member of the Hurley Recreation Committee for over 30 years; a Hurley Library Trustee since 2019; a member of the Hurley Democratic Committee for over 30 years; and a lifelong member of the Hurley Reformed Church and past Deacon.

The proposed lithium battery site at the former Coleman High School location is TOO BIG, TOO CLOSE AND TOO DANGEROUS! From the beginning, Tim has been speaking out and fighting the siting of this dangerous battery plant so close to residential areas.

A former Hurley Council member, Tim is a native son of Hurley with a passion to protect it. He has worked to: secure a $375,000 grant for the Old Hurley Library’s conversion into the a new Hurley Heritage Community Center; site and plan for the new Highway Garage; get Hurley’s landfill remediated. Tim’s pro-environment and recognizes a need to be pro-active in smart development so that we may protect our beautiful community.
