Public Safety Announcement!!
We understand that we have a hard working community whether at home or at work so we feel it is necessary to make sure our community is well informed and knowledgeable about the different hazards related to the current heat wave we are experiencing. We recommend all community members to stay cool and stay hydrated while performing tasks around the house or at work. Here are some signs of heat stroke and heat exhaustion. If you or a family member is experiencing any of these signs after being exposed to high temperatures for a long period of time, please call 911 immediately.
🌡️Signs of Heat Exhaustion-> Heavy sweating, dizziness, nausea, headache, extreme thirst, and cold, pale, or clammy skin.
🌡️Signs of Heat Stroke-> Altered mental state (such as confusion, slurred speech, or seizures), a dangerously high body temperature, loss of consciousness, and hot, dry, or profusely sweating skin.
