We are monitoring the potential for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, most likely in portions of east-central MN and northwest WI. This severe storm potential will be dependent on the amount of clearing that occurs after this morning's showers and storms. The main hazard with any severe storms that develop will be large hail to 1.5" in diameter. Stay alert this afternoon and evening, and be ready to act if warnings are issued for your area.
