It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our esteemed colleague, Zoanne Deckelman (Zo). Zo was a cherished member of the Mobilemedic (subsequent Empress) family for over 22 years, and she was just as much a friend as she was a valued employee.

An accomplished paramedic, Zo brought not only her expertise but also her dedication to Mobilemedic, Empress, and all of Sullivan County. She always greeted me with a hug, and her signature hello was a sincere (with a smirk), "Thanks for the job." Her spirit will never be forgotten.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Zo’s family, friends, and the countless coworkers she touched over the years. During this difficult time, we encourage everyone to come together to remember and celebrate her life and the profound impact she had on us all.

Yesterday the Mobilemedic family lost one of our own suddenly. Although Erica had only been part of our family for a short time, she was an amazing addition with great energy. She will be missed.
