Hurlock Town Residents - fire hydrants are being flushed throughout the town today (8/13) and tomorrow (8/14). As a result, if you experience brown water or any sediments in your water, run your water until it is clear. Thank you.

PLEASE SHARE THIS MESSAGE

Good morning, everyone,

I am pleased to announce that the mandatory water restrictions implemented earlier this month have been officially lifted, effective immediately.

Following the completion of the required testing, we anticipate placing the shallow well back into service within the next few days, returning our water system to normal operations.

Residents may now resume normal water usage. However, I still encourage everyone to continue practicing responsible water conservation whenever possible to help protect this valuable resource.

I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to our Public Works Department and everyone who worked diligently to complete the repairs and restore our water system as quickly and safely as possible. Their dedication and professionalism were instrumental throughout this process.

Finally, thank you to every resident, business, and visitor for your patience, understanding, and cooperation. Your willingness to conserve water made a significant difference and demonstrated the strength of our community working together.
Thank you again for helping make this effort a success.
