Power out? You can now report it through the SmartHub app or website. ⚡

Along with your report, you can leave comments about when the power went out and anything you noticed, like flickering lights, a loud noise, or visible storm damage nearby. Those details give our crews more information to work with.

This new system update helps us learn about outages faster so we can start responding sooner. Reporting your outage helps, even if you think a neighbor already has!

You can still call Dakota Energy to report an outage, too.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives booth yesterday. From bucket-truck rides and pole climbs to watching our youngest visitors learn about electrical safety, we loved seeing all the smiles and having fun with you.

Thank you to all our members for your continued support! We appreciated seeing everyone who was able to attend this year’s Annual Meeting. A total of 333 members registered at our Huron, Miller, and Highmore locations.

We also appreciate everyone who attended our Question & Answer Session, shared comments and asked thoughtful questions. We know our rate structure can be complex. Annual Meeting Day is tomorrow!

Stop by any of our three locations Thursday, August 20, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to register, vote and receive a $40 bill credit.
