**Scott Edwards**
Mayor Scott Edwards lives in Hurricane with his wife, Danielle and their four children. Having grown up in Hurricane, raising his family here and owning a city-based business, Scott has a vested interested in seeing Hurricane be all that it can be. After graduating from Hurricane High School in 1988, Scott attended Vir

ginia Tech and Marshall University, where he completed his Bachelor's degree. For the last 12 years, Scott has owned and operated Netranom Communications, a Hurricane-based company. Netranom and its twenty employees provide technology services throughout West Virginia. For more than twenty years, Scott has spent time trying to give back to the community and improving the quality of life for everyone there. For the last four years, Scott has served as Mayor of the City of Hurricane. During his tenure as Mayor, the City has seen growth and prosperity in addition to increased public safety. Besides his service as Mayor, Scott has served as a firefighter and paramedic with the Hurricane Volunteer Fire Department since 1988. He also serves on the Putnam County Development Authority's Board of Directors and on the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. Three years ago, Scott was appointed by Governor Manchin to the West Virginia Emergency Medical Service Advisory Council to provide recommendations for adequate emergency medical services for all portions of the state. Scott would appreciate the opportunity to continue serving as your Mayor. His experience in business management and his ability to build collaborative efforts among private and public partners has permitted the City to have opportunities never seen before.



**Linda Gibson**
Linda Gibson, candidate for City Recorder, has been a resident of Hurricane for 53 years, since marrying her husband, Jack. She has raised three daughters, Cheri, who is married to Michael Rollyson, Beth, who is married to Scott Krall, and Jan who is married to John Browne. She also has four grandchildren, Derek & Rachel Krall, Chris Rollyson and Luke Browne. Linda's family is the 4th generation of Gibson and Hayes family graduates from Hurricane High School. Her whole family is very active in the community. Linda is an active member of Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She also serves as a member of the PipeSounds Organ Board and is a 50-year member of the Hurricane Woman's Club, where she has served in several offices including President. Linda has served the City of Hurricane as its City Recorder for several years. During this time, she has had the opportunity to network with others from throughout the State and has attended multiple educational programs. These opportunities have assisted her in making quality decisions which impact the growth and future of our community. She is a charter member of the Hurricane Development Authority and has been actively involved in supporting business growth and prosperity. Linda's goal remains making Hurricane a better place to live for all citizens and families. She hopes to continue her work on the Hurricane City Council, and pledges to listen to our concerns of the community. Through working together with other Council members, Linda hopes to improve the infrastructure, parks, streets, and promote new business enterprises and expansions. Linda would appreciate your continued support on June 14th in her efforts to again serve as your City Recorder.

**Reggie Billups**
Reggie Billups,candidate for council, lives in Hurricane with his wife, Gigi. He is the proud father of two daughters, Christy and Aimee Mynes, , and one son, Mike. Reggie is currently the Athletic Trainer at Hurricane High School. He has been employed as a teacher and coach for the Putnam County School System for more than 35 years. Reggie is a graduate of Hurricane High School, West Virginia Institute of Technology and has a Masters Degree from Marshall University. Reggie is a lifelong resident of Hurricane and is a member of the Hurricane First Baptist Church. He has served on the Hurricane City Council for more than 28 years. During his years on council, Reggie has been dedicated to serving the citizens of Hurricane through supporting new business development, enhanced recreational opportunities, and improved public safety. Reggie asks for your support on June 14th so he may continue to serve the citizens of Hurricane.


**Brian Ellis**
Brian Ellis is the son of Sid and Betty Ellis of Hurricane. He is a lifelong resident of Hurricane and graduate of Hurricane High School. Brian resides in Hurricane with his son Joshua, a sophomore at Hurricane High School. Brian has owned and operated Mountaineer 4x4, a successful Hurricane business, for more than twenty-two years. For the past four years, Brian has served as a member of Hurricane City Council. He is proud of council's accomplishments during the recent past and looks forward to the opportunity to serving you in the future.

**Marshall Ginn**
Marshall Ginn has lived in Hurricane since 1966 with his wife, Brenda. Marshall came to Hurricane after serving his country in the US Army. They have two daughters and three grandchildren. Marshall, in conjunction with his brother, own a small construction company and also own and manage several pieces of rental property throughout the area. Through a long-standing partnership with the City, Marshall has been involved in several projects to help beautify the city through the renovation of several pieces of property. Marshall is also active with other endeavors throughout the region to help improve the quality of life for our friends and neighbors. One of these projects is the Community Cupboard where Marshall can often be found lending a helping hand to those in need of a little assistance. Marshall has been a council member since being appointed to fill an unexpired term. He believes being a member of council gives him the opportunity to give back to the community that has given so much to him. Marshall would appreciate your support in the upcoming election.

**Scott Cunningham**
Scott Cunningham lives in Hurricane with his wife, Andrea - who is the Spanish teacher at Hurricane Middle School. They have been married for almost 8 years and have 2 beautiful daughters, Kierson and Corinthia. Scott is also the proud son-in-law of Phyllis Atkins and the late Lyle Atkins. He is also the nephew of Daniel and Diana Brillhart of Hurricane. Scott graduated from Marshall University in 2004 with a Bachelors degree in Business Management and a minor in Economics. While on campus, Scott was the President of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, and is still an active alumnus. Vernon Baptist Church in Teays Valley. He has volunteered a week each summer for the last 8 years to work with the youth at Camp Cowen, a Baptist church camp. He also volunteers with the St. Jude's Rivals for a Cure Golf Tournament. He is also a member of Generation Putnam, a group of young business professionals dedicated to building a better Putnam County. Scott works as a Project Engineer for Pray Construction Company in Scott Depot. He has been employed with Pray for 3 years. He is in charge of managing different projects as well as overseeing the budgets and schedules for those projects. Scott would appreciate your support on June 14th. He looks forward to bringing his management skills and dedication to serving the citizens of Hurricane and making it a better place to raise his family.

**Donna Dunlevy**
Donna Dunlevy is a longtime resident of the Hurricane area. Along with her husband Steve, Donna is raising two children, Taylor and Trevor. She graduated from University of Kentucky with a degree in Elementary Education and has spent fourteen years teaching in area elementary classrooms. Donna is a member of the Forrest Burdette Methodist Church and is on the board of the Lil' Lambs Ministry. She is also active in numerous community-based programs - all aimed at improving the quality of life for our children. She is the President of Hurricane Town Elementary PTO, the Secretary of the Hurricane Baseball League, and coaches girls' softball. Donna hopes to serve you as a council member. She believes that Hurricane is a great place to raise a family and hopes to make it even better. Donna would appreciate your support in her effort to serving you.
