Due to state and county orders and the rising of COVID-19 cases, the City is delaying the reopening of the Senior Center indefinitely. The City Council will re-evaluate the reopening plans every two weeks. We miss you all and want you to stay safe so that we can be together again when the time is right.

Looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the senior center on July 6th! There are a few things everyone needs to know. Our new operating hours are 9am - 5pm. Masks will be required unless you have a medical condition. The fitness center will be by appointment. You can go online to register, or call 817-788-7710 and staff can register you. You can also send an email to [email protected] with your time and days to workout. We will have coffee service available from 9am - 4pm.

City of Rowlett Parks and Recreation

The Rowlett Senior Center has been playing Virtual Bingo and they have invited us to join in the fun. Visit their page on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 am to play. You can view this past game in this post to see how it works so you can be ready to play tomorrow. If you have questions, feel free to call us at HSAC for assistance at 817-788-7710. Please be sure to comment and thank Rowlett and Bingo Host Jason Aguirre for making this activity available!

Here is how you’ll play: we will start the first game at 10:35 AM. You will need to go to the link in the post to get your card. Once the game starts, click on the number on the card once it is called.

Rules:

-Everyone will get your card from the link below.
-The bingo caller will call the numbers and show the ball to the participants
-If that number is on your card, click the number on your card and it will mark it for you.
-Once you have a Bingo, comment on the feed "bingo" and then follow it up with the numbers that make up your bingo.
