Proud to serve the community of Hurst!
💙🚒 When seconds count, heroes answer the call. 👶
Texas Health is proud to recognize Hurst Fire Department Station 1 – Medic 211, C Shift for their lifesaving response to a recent call. Upon arrival, the crew found a newborn—just 20 minutes old—who was not breathing. While staff on scene had already begun CPR, additional resources and advanced care were urgently needed.
This crew quickly took over, initiating compressions, providing life‑saving treatment, and ventilating the baby to ensure safe transport to Texas Health Harris Methodist HEB’s Emergency Department. Thanks to this incredible teamwork and quality care, this baby is now happy, healthy, and home.
