Welcome!
We are thrilled to welcome Audrey Burchfield to Hurst Junior High!
Audrey Burchfield is a passionate music educator and vocalist who finds joy in choral music. She spent six years teaching middle school in Fort Worth ISD, where she fostered both musical growth and personal confidence in her students. She is deeply committed to helping adolescent singers develop into skilled musicians, thoughtful leaders, and compassionate individuals.
In addition to her work in the classroom, Audrey serves as a scholar musician at Broadway Baptist Church, where she continues to share her love of music through performance and worship leadership. She is an active member of Mu Phi Epsilon, Texas Music Educators Association, and American Choral Directors Association.
Outside of music, Audrey enjoys spending time outdoors and with her two Australian Shepherds, Ted and Marshall. Audrey is excited to join the team at Hurst Junior High School this fall and looks forward to continuing the legacy of musical excellence in HEB ISD.
