MCLEOD COUNTY - NO TRAVEL ADVISED 12/18/25: No travel advisory in effect until 12/19/25 5 am from the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office. McLeod County Public Works plows will be back on the road at 4 am.

We have plenty of parking options to make your day easy and fun!
Use the North Century Ave Entrance for quick access to the West Lot and Theater Lot (motorcycle parking available here as well).
If you prefer the South Entrance, park in the Green Lot or nearby Brown, Orange, or Purple Lots.
Need accessible parking? Look for the designated spots marked “H” near the West and Theater Lots.
Heading to the pits? Use the Pit Entrance from the south off Airport Road.

As always, we will have people flagging and directing traffic for parking on our grounds. Check out our parking map to find your best spot. We can’t wait to see you at the fair!

❗️2025 Hennepin Avenue Project Updates ❗️

⚠️Beginning on Monday, August 11th, the 16th Street and Hennepin Avenue intersection will be closed. Construction crews will begin installing sanitary sewer pipes and manholes, followed by water main and storm sewer piping in the intersection. The intersection is scheduled to be closed until August 29, 2025

⚠️The contractor will be closing the 20th Street / Hennepin Avenue intersection beginning Wednesday morning, August 13. Construction crews will be completing the street construction work in the intersection, including concrete curb and gutter and paving. The intersection will be closed until August 21.

Hennepin Avenue Project Update:

The intersection of 20th Street and Hennepin Avenue is scheduled to be closed beginning at 7:00 am Friday morning (7/18/25). Hennepin Avenue south of the 20th Street intersection up to and including 18th Street and 18th Street from Ford Avenue to Hennepin Avenue will also remain open to traffic. Conflicts with gas main and fiber optics and pending relocation of those utilities has moved up the schedule for the 20th Street intersection closure.

Work continues at the intersection of TH 22 and Hennepin Avenue. It is anticpated to reopen on July 23.

⚠️ 2025 Hennepin Avenue Project Update ⚠️

The intersection of TH 22 and Hennepin Avenue will be closed starting Monday July 14.

The construction work in the intersection includes installation of city utilites followed by road restoration. It is anticipated that the closure duration will be one week, pending any weather delays.

Below is a map showing the designated detour route for TH 22.
