Time to turn reading into rewards (hello, pizza! 😍)

➡️ Enrollment is OPEN now—everyone must enroll each year (school & homeschool doesn’t carry over)
➡️ Download or update the BOOK IT!® App
➡️ Tap “Enroll Now” and complete the form

🍕 Important: If you downloaded the app earlier and added child profiles, that’s a great first step—but you may not be fully enrolled yet. Be sure to tap “Enroll for Summer” and complete registration!

Once enrolled, your information (registered children) will appear in the app when the program officially begins on June 1.

Today fifth grade wrapped up the school year with an exciting event that celebrates everything our students have learned in ELA. Battle of the Minds is a fun, team based trivia competition where students from the other classes join forces and compete in mixed teams, answering questions covering all the major topics we’ve studied in CKLA this year. From reading comprehension and grammar to writing strategies and literary elements, this event challenged them and showcased just how much they have learned. It was a really fun way to review, reflect, and end the year on a high note.

Congrats to our winning team: George Corey, Harper Lewis, Amber Harris, Caleb Penner, Zeke Nelson, and Hunter Fernandez.

Mark your calendars: the last day of school is TOMORROW, Thursday, May 21st — and it's a HALF DAY for students! 🏫➡️🏖️
School will still start at 7:50am, with the doors opening at 7:30am, as usual. Students will be served lunch while they are at school. Student's will be dismissed at 11:30am.
If your student rides the Boys and Girls Club Bus, you will need to make arrangements for after school pickup, due to Boys and Girls Club being closed on half days.
All other bussing will run like normal with the only difference being that they will pick students up from school at 11:30am.

We are so proud of everything our students have accomplished this year. Here's to finishing strong and soaking up every last moment before summer break begins!

Friday we finished our final clubs of the year!! It is so wonderful to watch everyone work together to create a fun day for all! 💙💛💙
