Families, we're making a fun change to our Grandparents Night this year! Instead of Bingo, we're excited to host a Grandparents Trivia & Game Night on September 8th!🎲

Join us for an evening of trivia, board games, food, fun, and time together as a Kerley community. Families are encouraged to bring a favorite board game to share, such as Jenga, Life, Monopoly, or another family favorite.

PTA Membership Meeting: 5:30-6:00 PM
Trivia & Game Night: 6:00-7:00 PM

We can't wait to celebrate our grandparents and enjoy a night filled with connection, laughter, and a little friendly competition.

🏀 Kerley Parent & Family Engagement: Basketball Skills at Kerley Elementary

Kerley families, come learn, play, and have some fun together! Join Coach Billy and Coach JoWayne every Thursday from September 3 through October 8, from 5:00–6:15 PM, for free basketball skills sessions in the Kerley gym.

Parents and families are invited to participate alongside their students. No pre-registration is needed. Bring your own basketball, water, good running shoes, and be ready to have fun!

Mrs. Caswell's 5th grade math classes are working hard to establish their Formative Assessment Friday routine! Through this process, students are embracing Leader in Me habits by setting meaningful goals, tracking their own data, and taking ownership of their learning. By reflecting on their progress and practicing their problem-solving skills, students are learning to “Begin with the End in Mind” and “Be Proactive” in their academic growth, building both confidence and independence along the way.

We have created a folder where students can practice their Fact fluency. This will help them strengthen their ability to recall basic math facts at home! When students know these facts automatically, they can focus on solving more complex problems without getting stuck on the smaller steps.
