Cleaning house??? Pruging closets??? Maybe getting ready to move???? Help Cottonwood Creek PTA and bring your clothing and "softline" household goods like linnens, bedding, curtains... NO hard items like lamps, dishes, decor... Our bin is located off of "Exchange" the road between CCES and HMS. I have attached a photo with a green square where the bin is located by our portables. PLEASE do not leave anything outside of the collection bin.

What We Accept in the Clothes Bin:
Clothes
Pants, jeans, skirts, dresses, suits, shorts, shirts, tees

Outerwear
Coats, jackets, gloves, hats

Footwear
Shoes, boots, heels, sneakers, sandals

Accessories
Hats, belts, ties, scarves

Handbags
Wallets, purses, totes, backpacks, briefcases

ALSO - If you would like to help out the PTA by hosting a collection bin at your place of business please let me know! The service we use is FillTheBins.com and is a Veteran owned business located in New Braunfels.

We will fill orders on Fridays only at this time. Message us to schedule an appointment to pick up on Fridays between 10:00 - 2:00 (please do not call the campus office) OR message us the name of your student and their teacher and we will deliver to the classroom prior to dismissal.

We have a new donation request... We would like to have breakfast bars and juice boxes in the front office so kids that arrive after school has started and did not get a chance to grab breakfast at home can grab a quick bite to eat so they don't start the day off hungry. Donate from our website, OR feel free to grab some next time you are shopping and drop them off at the front desk. Please make sure you let Delia know it is for PTA Grab and Go breakfast.

Our free breakfast does not always offer items that are classroom friendly to consume so we would like to have something in the front office the tardy kiddos can grab and go as they head off to class. The PTA will have a table there with information and you can sign up on the spot. Come by, say HI and see what all we plan to do this year. You can join on the spot AND sign up to help with the different events we will holding.

Just a friendly reminder if you want to drop off things you no longer need, we can take most clothing and textile items. Here is a list of what we want. The bin is located off of Exchange in the bus loop parking lot, see attached map with the green highlight. KINDLY REMEMBER IF IT DOESN'T FIT or not on this list please do not just leave it sitting by the bin.

Hi all!!! This is Kathy, your 26/27 President. Andrea (VP) and Kyla (SEC) met over the weekend and worked on a number of things. As you can see we already have our first "Spirit Night" with Panda Express scheduled for September 18th, and we are working on more in coordination with Mrs. Stewart, CCES Principal. We are working on Trunk or Treat, tentativly scheduled for Thursday, October 29th, Holiday Shopping Event in December, a Community Rummage Sale and "Fill the Bag" sale in April, and our big student fundraiser with Big Kahuna in May. We will be scheduling more Spirit Nights and some fun dances are coming soon.

We really need help with finding a Treasurer and Committee/Event Chairperson. There will be an openhouse on September 1st and we will be there. IF you are available to help, please let us know.

Our first "Spirit Night" fundraiser is Friday, September 18th!!!! Need something for lunch? NO PROBLEM!!! The Hippos play Temple High School at home, so this would be a perfect pre-game dinner!!! This event is for the full day, so there is no time restrictions.

By sharing this post, your family and friends can participate anywhere there is a Panda Express! Place your order online for delivery or pickup and you are set, AND orders can be placed a week ahead of time.
