The results weren’t what we hoped, but I’m incredibly humbled by the support from the Huxley community.

Congratulations to the newly elected mayor and city council members. After getting to know them through the election process, I know they will provide a positive impact.

I look forward to my continued involvement on Parks and Recreation board, and I’m very excited for the future of our community.

October 26th from 5:30 - 7 PM in the Huxley Public Library, you have the opportunity to meet the Mayoral, City Council and School Board candidates. This is your opportunity to impact your community. Come ask questions and make educated decisions on important roles in our community.
Additionally, The League of Women Voters of Ames & Story County held a forum Oct 17th at Nord-Kalsem for the Mayoral and City Council candidates. It was recorded and will be on KHOI 89.1 FM, community radio, on Wednesday November 1st at 7 PM. Be sure to tune in.
