Hyampom Engine 3334 has another opportunity to form a strike team with other Trinity County Fire Departments. We have deployed to the in Southern California with Hayfork Volunteer Fire Department, Kettenpom Zenia Volunteer Fire Dept, Weaverville Fire Department, and Douglas City Volunteer Fire Department.

This wouldn't be possible without the crew we are leaving at home to make sure our district is fully covered. We are excited to have an opportunity to represent Hyampom!

Due to the potential for extreme fire behavior and lightning in Trinity County, Hyampom Engine 3334 along with 3 Hyampom Fire crew members have joined a local government strike team made up of 5 engines. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work side by side with Hayfork Volunteer Fire Department , Weaverville Fire Department , Trinity Center VFD , and Douglas City Volunteer Fire Department.

Our engine will be staffed and standing by for initial attack on any new incidents that may arise in Trinity County. As of now, we are with our neighbors in Hayfork, monitoring the storm and checking for smoke.

We want to thank our community for supporting us. If it wasn't for the hardwork, dedication, and support of our community and crew members we wouldn't have these opportunities.

Remember to call 911 if you see smoke!

Happy 4th of July!

The lightning start fires our neighbors in Hayfork were dealing with have been contained, with the exception of one just South of Hayfork called the 6-6 fire. This one is looking good and we hope will be concluded soon.

Additionally, we have several new starts to the North in the Trinity Alps and the Klamath National Forest which may cause us to see some smokey days.

At this time there is still no threat to our area, so let's be sure to be alert and call 911 if you see smoke!

Hello Hayfork!

We hope you all have a happy and safe 4th of July weekend!🎆🎇

Our department would like to remind everyone of the prohibition on fireworks within Trinity County (Code 8.34.010) was enacted by Trinity County Supervisors on October 3rd 2023: No person... shall sell, offer for sale, use, discharge, display, possess or store fireworks within the unincorporated areas of Trinity County.

This prohibition applies to both dangerous fireworks and safe and sane fireworks.

We want everyone to have a fun weekend while also protecting the amazing community we live in. Fire activity is on the rise so please remember to remain alert and vigilant!

Thank you everyone! We can't wait to see you at the Trinity County Fair!🎪
