Cape Cod Women for Change WE ARE AN INDIVISIBLE PROJECT GROUP - PART OF THE NATIONAL INDIVISIBLE NETWORK. Advocacy and Resistance.

We are a growing group of people who realize that if we want change, we must take part in the political process. We are a growing organization of perSisters of the Resistance. We are here to share news and information about issues that will impact women, families, men, LGBTQ, immigrants, the environment and our communities here on Cape Cod as well as our state and country. This is not the place to argue issues, if you are here you are, for the most part, on the same page as the rest of us. Racist, sexist, homophobic or any comments that insult members of our community will be reported and users will be banned. Keep in mind those kinds of comments only illustrate the problem for the rest of us here and you are essentially making the rest of us STRONGER TOGETHER.

VOTE YES ON QUESTION 9!!! This first hand account is heartbreaking but what is almost worse is the last line that sums up our need to protect gun rights over children, "The Bend police department said this week that the sh***un used in the incident was purchased legally." What does that say about us?

"Her left hand was almost completely severed, and her other arm was also badly injured, Drury said.
“I could not get up, defend myself, or protect anyone else. So, I did the only thing I could do, which was to pretend to be dead in the hope he would not shoot me again,” she said. “I know there has been contradictory reporting about my actions that day, but the truth is I was shot before I had any chance to act.”
She described the violence as “unimaginable” and said: “My heart is broken for everyone affected by this tragedy.”
