IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. Because of the importance of this PRIMARY race we have decided to endorse Rob Galibois for Cape and Island District Attorney. Rob has kept his promises and brought so much positive change to the office. He is out in the community listening to people. He is a tough prosecutor, but also is addressing the root causes of local crimes when starting programs for victims of crimes like those who scam elders out of their hard eared mosey, victims of trafficking and sexual assault survivors - just to name a few. His opponent has only recently become a Democrat and was prominent in his support of Rob's Republican opponent last election. Rob has changed the culture of that office from "we step on the necks of criminals" and the good ol boys network, to mental health awareness, veterans needs, victim support and more. Don't be fooled by fake Dems - GET OUT AND VOTE FOR ROB!!!

We are proud to endorse Ron Bergstrom, the incumbent in the race for County Commissioner. Ron has served us well, knows the office and does not make promises beyond the scope of the office's charter, and is an actual Democrat, is a long-proven progressive, cares about the issues important to us, is a full-time resident who works hard here on Cape Cod, understands and lives the challenges of working people in this county, cares about the environment, cost of living, cost of housing, cares about our immigrant neighbors, and has proven over and over that he knows the job, the people and the needs of this county. BOTH OF THE CANDIDATES running against Ron are not addressing questions about their residency. Gessen still has another year+ of law school in NEW YORK and when asked on Mindy Todd show and other interviews does not directly answer how he will serve while in NY, rather he weaves and says he is a "full time student" who lives with his parents. When will MAGA get that all these natural disasters that are killing people at home and all over the world can be directly related to CLIMATE CHANGE and WE CAN ACTUALLY DO THINGS TO ADDRESS THIS.

More storms and flooding are possible at the Grand Canyon where a major flash flood left one person dead and about 15 more missing.

BAN FLOCK AND ALL AUTOMATIC LICENSE PLATE READERS (ALPR) WE ARE LOSING OUR RIGHTS TO PRIVACY! And clearly the abilty to abuse them has been demonstrated.

The deputy resigned after an investigation uncovered an alleged history of racism, stalking, and sexual abuse.
