Dream Tale Puppets will present “Alice, or the Red King’s Dream”, fantastically nonsensical adventures of a little girl inspired by Lewis Carroll’s writings, for children 5 years old and up and their families.

The show is on Saturday, October 25th at 2:00 p.m.. The door will open at 4:35 p.m. Admission is FREE. The show runs about an hour.

Step into a world of fantasy, make-believe, and play, and join little Alice in search of her lost kitten. Follow her as she falls down the rabbit hole and enters a curious land of puzzles, talking flowers, and a jumble of characters from Lewis Carroll’s stories. Each of Alice’s encounters—some silly, some strange, and some a little spooky—challenges her sense of reality and her sense of self. Will Alice find her kitten? Will anyone lend a hand? And how do you navigate a place where logic takes a nap?

Join Alice on her topsy-turvy adventure and see where the dream leads!
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Mid-Cape Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Who is ready for a oink-tastic time? Dream Tale Puppets will perform Three Little Pigs for children ages 3 and up and their families on Saturday, October 11th at 11 am. A joyful puppet playtime will follow the performance at the Osterville Village Library.

This charming, 25-minute puppet show brings to life the classic tale of three piglets who outsmart a big, bad wolf. The story is filled with funny dialogues with Mommy Pig, cheerful construction of various houses, and comical encounters with the naughty wolf.

The performance features two artists. Sarah Kahn, a performer, artist, and art teacher, provides narration and voices for the puppets. Jacek Zuzanski, a theatre and puppetry artist and teacher, animates the puppets. Founded in 2003 in Mashpee, Dream Tale Puppets offers puppet shows and workshops for children and adult puppetry lovers.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Mid-Cape Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
