The Town of Barnstable's Council on Aging seeks to enhance the quality of life for older adults in our community through the design and implementation of needed programs and services. From outreach and advocacy as well as continued learning and wellness activities, the Barnstable Adult Community Center provides a wide array of opp

ortunities for interaction and assistance, engaging older adults with connections in our community, and helping them maintain healthy and active lifestyles. Our friendly staff look forward to giving you a tour of the facility and providing information on our many programs and services.

Our hearts were full as all four Kindergarten classes from Barnstable Community Innovation School joined an enthusiastic group at the BACC for a special patriotic sing-along. 🇺🇸🎶

The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and the joy of music as young and old came together to share this meaningful experience. These moments of connection remind us of the power of community and the special bonds that can be created across generations.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this memorable event possible. A wonderful time was had by all! ❤️🤍💙

A new Parkinson Support Group is coming to the BACC, offering a welcoming space for individuals living with Parkinson’s and their family partners to connect, share experiences, ask questions, and support one another.

The group will continue meeting on the 4th Thursday of each month and is sponsored by the American Parkinson Disease Association Massachusetts Chapter.
