The Town of Barnstable's Council on Aging seeks to enhance the quality of life for older adults in our community through the design and implementation of needed programs and services. From outreach and advocacy as well as continued learning and wellness activities, the Barnstable Adult Community Center provides a wide array of opp

The bereavement support group provides a positive nurturing, confidential setting to learn ways to manage and cope with loss. The group is facilitated by experienced bereavement professionals and is free of charge.

A new Parkinson Support Group is coming to the BACC, offering a welcoming space for individuals living with Parkinson’s and their family partners to connect, share experiences, ask questions, and support one another.

The group will continue meeting on the 4th Thursday of each month and is sponsored by the American Parkinson Disease Association Massachusetts Chapter.
