RESIDENTIAL BREAKING AND ENTERING
On June 5, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of Nicholson Street for a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim and the juvenile suspect, who was in the apartment’s living room. The victim noticed his personal belongings in the suspect’s bag while walking him out of the apartment. The juvenile was taken into custody and charged accordingly. Later, he was released into his parents' custody.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE
On June 2, 2026, at 10:53 a.m., officers received an automated license plate reader alert about a stolen vehicle near East-West Highway and Toledo Road. While searching, an officer spotted the vehicle in a parking lot in the 3500 block of East-West Highway.
Officers waited, and moments later, three people approached the vehicle. Officers approached the car, and the three people tried to run away.

One was immediately taken into custody. They were in possession of the vehicle’s key and admitted to having driven it. The two others were unaware that the vehicle had been stolen and released. The driver was charged accordingly.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE AND TAGS
On May 26, 2026, at 2:25 p.m., officers located a vehicle traveling on East-West Highway displaying stolen tags. Officers conducted a stop of the vehicle and took the driver into custody near Red Top Road and Fairview Avenue. The vehicle had been reported stolen through the Montgomery County Police Department, and the registration tags had been reported stolen through the Takoma Park Police Department. The driver was also found to have an open warrant through Prince George’s County.
The suspect was charged accordingly.

WARRANT SERVICE
On May 25, 2026, at 6:07 p.m., officers working secondary employment in the 3500 block of East West Hwy saw a person they knew to be a wanted subject for an armed robbery. The suspect was taken into custody and taken to the Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro.
