Great systems are important. The people who know how to make those systems work for our schools are even more important.

We’re excited to share this recent Infinite Campus spotlight featuring Lamoille North Educational Data Manager Michelle Ksepka!

Infinite Campus has become an important part of how we support students, families, teachers, and staff, from registration and scheduling to communication, student progress, data, and more. As Michelle shares in the Q&A, bringing so much of that work into one system has streamlined processes and made everyday tasks more efficient across Lamoille North.

But technology is only as effective as the people behind it.

Having true experts like Michelle on our team, people who understand not only the system, but how it needs to work for our schools, makes an enormous difference. That expertise helps solve problems, improve processes, support our staff, and ultimately create a smoother experience for the students and families we serve.

An incredible amount of work happens behind the scenes every day to keep a school district running. We’re grateful for Michelle and all of the Lamoille North staff whose expertise keeps those systems...and our schools...moving forward.

“Having a single system with everything in one place has been extremely beneficial for our staff, students and parents.”

Michelle Ksepka from Lamoille North Supervisory Union shares more about the district’s overall experience with Infinite Campus.

*** AN IMPORTANT TRANSPORTATION UPDATE IMPACTING SOME EDEN FAMILIES ***

We apologize for the late notice, but for the rest of this week, students on Eden Bus Route E1 will not have afternoon bus transportation home from the Lamoille Union Campus.

A designated parent or caregiver must pick up affected students at the Lamoille Union Campus at the end of the school day. Students who need to wait for their ride can remain safely inside the building.

This change is due to an unplanned and unexpected shortage of bus drivers. We know this creates a significant, last-minute inconvenience for families, and we sincerely apologize.

We are working with Lamoille Valley Transportation to restore regular service as quickly as possible and will update Eden families when more information is available.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Two days. One district. One team ready for a new year.

Teachers and staff from across Lamoille North have wrapped up two full days of professional learning, collaboration, connection, and preparation for the year ahead.

These days matter. They give us time to learn alongside one another, strengthen relationships across schools and roles, align around the work that matters most, and make sure we're ready to welcome our students back with purpose and energy.

Tomorrow, our classrooms and hallways come alive again.

Behind that first-day excitement are hundreds of educators and staff members who have spent these final days preparing not just their classrooms, but themselves and each other, for the students and families we serve.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back tomorrow.

Here's to a great 2026–2027 school year, Lamoille North!

There’s no better way to get to know Lamoille North than to hit the road!

On Monday, August 17, we welcomed our newest educators to Lamoille North for New Teacher Orientation: a day dedicated to making connections, learning how our district works, meeting district leaders, and getting a firsthand look at the communities our students call home.

The afternoon featured one of our favorite traditions: the New Teacher Orientation Bus Tour, now in its ninth year!

After gathering at the CEC at Green Mountain Tech, our newest teachers and administrators climbed aboard the bus for a tour across Lamoille North.

Along the way, they visited Eden, Waterville, Cambridge, Hyde Park, and Johnson elementary schools, Lamoille Union Middle & High School, and Green Mountain Tech, getting a sense not only of the geography of our district, but of the unique communities, schools, and people that make Lamoille North such a special place to learn and work.

Leading the adventure were retired longtime Lamoille Union High School English teacher Doug Boardman and LNSU Mentor Program Director Jacqui Gale, who kept the ride lively with local history, demographics, trivia, stories, and, of course, prizes!

A huge thank-you goes to our driver, Susan Aedos of Cambridge, and to Jordynn Brisbin, Cambridge Elementary School's Transportation Coordinator, for helping us secure the bus and driver and keep this beloved tradition rolling.

And because no Lamoille County road trip is truly complete without a creemee, the afternoon wrapped up at Cupboard Deli and Bakery

The bus tour gives our newest educators something a map or handbook simply can’t: a chance to see where our students live, understand the communities that shape them, and experience some of the same roads our students travel to and from school each day.

Nine years in, this tradition has become a little bit legendary, and we can’t think of a better way to welcome the newest members of the Lamoille North family.

We are incredibly excited about this new group of educators and the energy, talents, ideas, and experiences they are bringing to our schools. Please join us in giving them a warm Lamoille North welcome!

Welcome to Lamoille North. We’re so glad you’re here!
