Hydetown Volunteer Fire Department

Hydetown Volunteer Fire Department Station #14 Was established in 1987. Located in the Borough of Hydetown in Crawford Co. Pa. Bingo Thursday Evenings is open.

We are proud of the group of volunteer men and women that are dedicated and trained in Fire Fighting, EMS, Rescue and tactical operations for this community.1 Doors open at 5:00 Games begin at 6:30

Training will still be held every Tuesday evening
6:30pm. Board Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month
starting at 7:00pm. Auxillary Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month starting at 7:00pm.

When you are part of a tight-knit community like Hydetown, the loss of one of its members is felt deeply. When that member loved the community so much that their fingerprints were evident in every aspect that made the community a real community, the loss is felt even greater. It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our commrad, friend, and brother Larry Roof this past weekend. He has touched the Hydetown community and the Hydetown Volunteer Fire Department in ways that will be felt for many generations. We share this sadness with and express our love and deep appreciation to his family for sharing him with us for so many years. It's hard to imagine Hydetown without thinking of Larry Roof. Please keep the department, the community, and his family in your prayers as we all adjust to a world without his smile and laughter.
