EdVenture Charter School

Did you know EdVenture started as an alternative education program within the The School District of Palm Beach County for 6 years before the district asked us to write the first charter in Palm Beach County!

🎓 Exciting News from EdVenture Charter School!

EdVenture graduated about a third of our student body last year — which means more opportunities for new students!

We currently have about 10 spots open for the new school year - but they are going fast! 🌟

If your student isn't thriving in a traditional school setting, we might be the fit you're looking for:

✅ Small classes — 10:1 student/teacher ratio
✅ A place where "everyone knows your name" — you're one of 60, not one of 2,000
✅ Academic growth focus: 80% of our students make learning gains, with 60% making significant progress annually — outcomes that exceed Florida's own benchmark for high-performing schools

💙 A heartfelt thank you we had to share 💙

We were deeply moved to receive this note from Rev. Phyllis Parthemer, who attended one of our students' IEP meetings as a student and parent advocate:

"I was impressed by how carefully the staff listened, how well they understood the student's individual needs, and, most importantly, how respectfully they spoke about and treated the student… What encourages me most is that this student is enjoying school for the first time. When a student feels understood, respected, supported, and valued, they are in a much better position to learn and grow."

Rev. Parthemer shared that she's confident this student is "surrounded by an excellent team" — and we couldn't be prouder of our teachers and staff who show up with care and compassion every day. 🍎

This is the EdVenture difference. Students often come to us deflated, discouraged, and losing hope. We build them up — and help them graduate ready to enter adulthood with confidence.

Students figure out pretty quickly which adults mean what they say and which ones might let the same behavior slide.

One teacher redirects it. Another ignores it. Someone else gives a consequence that never came up before. The student hasn’t changed, but the response has. After enough of that, students start testing the adults instead of learning the boundary.

Consistency across adults doesn’t mean everyone has to sound the same. It means students shouldn’t need to guess whether the expectation still counts when a different person walks into the room.
