I would like to share with you a photo montage of the buildings that have been recently demolished that were along Logan's Main Street. Some had been there for close to 150 years. Although they don't look the same as they did back then, the basements looked pretty similar with rock walls.

I took these on Sat. January 22, 2022. I actually got the idea from a friend of mine, Keith Laursen who mentioned me in a post. He went and did this previously with his phone camera. So I thought that I would attempt to do the same with my professional camera. I then spent some time with the images in post-production in two programs called Lightroom and Photoshop Elements. It's kind of like adding a touch of makeup to photographs.

I knew that their end was coming and thought it was important enough to try to save their images for current and future generations via a photo essay on that area.

On May 15th each year, the Logan Temple has the sun set near the it's Southwest corner. This is what it looked like tonight! It rained just as I had hoped for. This makes a great photo effect on blacktop. And even better, the sun peaked out just before it finally set... just as I was hoping for.

For those who interested in this print: They can pay me $100 for the print and pick it up in Hyrum Utah unframed for a 16X20 or $150 for a 20X30. Or they can email me at [email protected] and I will send them the original file for $50 and they can print it themselves. :)
