I want to give a big thank you to everyone who voted for me, even though I ran unopposed, I still appreciate it. I also want to thank all the election judges and workers who worked the polls yesterday, they made my experience very smooth and enjoyable, the workers at the Iberia location are always very nice and friendly and they have a great crew there.

Tomorrow is the big Election Day for Miller Co. in most cases the main election is the November election, but since Miller Co has no democrat candidates then the August election is the main one that will determine who will win the election in November. I have worked hard campaigning, I have been door to door every weekend for the last 5 months, my budget for the campaign was pretty small compared to what everyone else has spent. I figured hard work and getting out and meeting people would do me just as much good as spending a bunch of money on signs and ads, I wish I could have gotten to speak to everyone in the county but I have gotten to as many people as possible in the time I had. I am not looking at this position as a part time job to supplement a retirement, I will work it full time for the taxpayers of the county. I would appreciate your vote tomorrow. Thank you

Tomorrow is Election Day and I want to encourage everyone to get out and vote. Voting is the only way to make sure your voice gets heard, whether it goes the way you vote or not, that’s the only way you can be heard.
First off I want to thank everyone for the time they have spent out of their day for me to talk to them. Campaigning is something that is really out of my comfort zone, but I loved meeting and talking to the people of our county and have had a blast campaigning for the last several months. I went into this campaign in a really different direction than my opponents, since I am employed by Miller Co. Road and Bridge, I have to take a different approach than to just bash the gravel roads in the county, I know the roads need work, I have some really good ideas that I know will work and not cost the taxpayers a bunch of money and I am excited to do those improvements. I also know that the commissioner position is so much more than just the roads. The southern half of the county has a little over 200 different roads and just a little over 350 miles of gravel roads that the south side has to maintain, that’s sometimes does become challenging but I am proud that we handle it really well with only 11 employees. If elected I have the experience and knowledge of the area because I have worked on all these roads over the last 7 years in one way or another, I will be able to fill in and help out when needed. I truly love our county, I am committed to doing everything in my power to make Miller Co a better place for our kids to grow up in. I would greatly appreciate your vote on Tuesday for the 2nd district commissioner and I will work hard for the citizens of our county.

I really haven’t said much about my family on any posts or articles that I have done while campaigning, so let me tell everyone about what I am the most proudest of. On October the 11th 2014 I married the most beautiful woman ever and I gained two beautiful daughters. Then two years later I was blessed with twin boys, some people might not realize but I also have a twin brother, a twin bond is an amazing thing and I’m proud that I was able to have twins and they share the same bond. Earlier this year our oldest daughter got married and she is now expecting a baby girl in September. I am very proud of my son-in-law who joined the army and they are both stationed in Fort Riley KS. My family is the reason I am running for the commissioner, I feel it is my duty to insure that they have a better place to live. I can’t thank them enough for the support they have given me these last few months. Remember Tuesday August 6th is Election Day and I would greatly appreciated your vote.
