Congratulations to our Senior Spotlight, Danny Weeda!

Danny is the son of Sterling and Julie Weeda and a graduate of OABCIG High School from Holstein. He has been a proud member of the Logan Hotshots 4-H Club for 9 years.

Throughout his 4-H career, Danny especially enjoyed projects involving beef, rabbits, and dog obedience. One of his favorite 4-H memories was winning Champion Market Steer, Reserve Champion Market Steer, and Champion Overall Market Beef at the county fair during his freshman year.

Danny shared that 4-H allowed him to explore his interests and discover his passion for cattle. Through his experiences, he has developed skills in breeding, feeding, fitting, and showing cattle and plans to continue pursuing those interests in the future.

This fall, Danny plans to attend Des Moines Area Community College majoring in Agribusiness. After graduation, he plans to return to the Holstein area to work in agriculture while continuing to grow his cattle herd.

Congratulations, Danny! We wish you continued success in all your future endeavors.
