Today has been set aside for all the miners who keep the lights on, natural gas, oil, and produce many of the things we take for granite. Without the men and women going underground, we would be in a world of hurt.

Take a couple of seconds and thank them for doing things you can today, but without miners it would be gone tomorrow.

Thankyou for all the prayers for these miners, they are out and safely

Prayers for all involved, three miners trapped underground since last night in BC, we all do the same mission, to get our fellow miners out

Premier David Eby said an accident at the Red Chris mine near Dease Lake, B.C., has trapped three workers, two of them from B.C. and one from Ontario. Eby said they don't believe the workers are injured.

********Update: they got out and all were evaluated, and released. They were able to get out on their own^^^^^

Emergency prayers for all involved 12 miners (workers) trapped 6 miles underground, Los Angeles California

At least 15 tunnel workers have been rescued from a tunnel collapse in Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

53 yrs ago today, a huge disaster, not from the mine itself, but from upkeep, fear of New items, not properly trained on equipment turned into a national travesty. The Sunshine Mine took 91 miners lives. Today is a day of remembrance of those paid the ultimate price.

Many things changed ever since that day including practices, foams and the learning of new equipment.

From all of here, it's our job to go home tonight, may God Bless and be safe out there
