Get out your calendars because we've got some great events coming up this month! Here's your lineup 🙌:

Thursday Sept 17th: Thirsty Third Thursday at The Vintage Moose. This is our monthly networking event and is a great low key way to meet people and get involved!

Thursday Sept 24th: Candidates Gould for Clear Creek and Lisa Manifold for Clerk & Recorder will be hosting a viewing of 'The Last Class'. This is an inspiring film that looks at the last class taught by legendary economist Robert Reich.

Saturday Sept 26th: Monthly ICE OUT protest at our usual location in downtown Idaho Springs!

The midterms are just around the corner and we are looking for all the help we can get to make sure we get as many Democrats in office as possible!

We know everyone is busy so there are several ways you can get involved depending on how much time and energy you have! If you don't have much time to offer, donations are a great way to make a difference. We offer the option of making single or recurring donations through the website.

Maybe you'd like to get your feet wet and help with organizing? If that's you then signing up to volunteer on the website is the first step towards getting involved. After you sign up we'll reach out and figure out the best way to use your unique skills!

Maybe you don't know how you'd like to help or if you have the time or money to do so? No problem at all. If this is you we suggest signing up for our newsletter and making sure you're following our social media. This will keep you up to date on our events and opportunities to get involved and you can step in when the time is right.

On the subject of social media, sharing posts is another simple way to help us achieve our goals.

Let's do the WORK and make this a country that WORKS for us again!

We are very excited to be hosting a showing of Robert Reich's 'Last Class' at the United Center in Idaho Springs on September 24th.

'The Last Class is a nuanced and deeply personal portrait of Reich as he reflects on a period of immense transformation, personally and globally. It is also a love letter to education. The former Secretary of Labor might be famous for his public service, best-selling books, and viral social media posts, but he always considered teaching his true calling. Now, after over 40 years and an extraordinary 40,000 students, Reich is preparing for his last class. Over the course of the film, Reich confronts the impending finality, and his own aging, with increasing candor, introspection, and, ultimately, emotion. He displays a rawness of feeling he has never shared publicly before. Drawing on his lifetime in politics, he uses his class, "Wealth and Poverty," to offer us all a deeper look at why inequalities of income and wealth have widened significantly since the late 1970s, and why this poses dangerous risks to our society.'

This is a FREE event that is open to all and will start at 6:30pm. Make sure you get it on your calendar and we'll see you all on the 24th!

It was a great event and we're excited to carry all this great energy into the midterms and beyond!

Massive thanks to Joe Neguse and Rep. Jamie Raskin for coming out and speaking at 'Democracy Fest' yesterday! It was a great day all around and it was inspiring to hear from our leaders who are so engaged in the fight. Onward to the midterms and a better America!

We've been so excited about Democracy Fest this Saturday that we (or maybe just the social media team 😉) almost forgot about Thirsty Third Thursday .
