A Red Flag Warning will be in effect for most portions of our service area on Sunday, June 7, from 10 AM - 10 PM. That means elevated fire danger, and could lead to longer, more frequent outages for our members.
We are NOT implementing a PSPS.
During Red Flag conditions, our system will activate fire settings on our lines. These settings are designed to automatically de-energize a line that contacts a hazard before it can spark a wildfire. That's a good thing, but it does mean outages may be more frequent or take longer to restore as our crews physically patrol the lines to confirm it's safe before re-energizing.
We know outages are disruptive. Our crews are out there working hard to balance safety with reliability. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
