MS State track day two.
It was a long and warm day with a lot of time waiting for some of our athletes. They did an amazing job against some hard competitors. We are so proud of all the hard work these kids put in. Great job!

Ava Boles (7G) Discus- 16th
Best 3A 6th grader discus at state!

Alejandra Corpus (7G) 200- 8th place. 🏅with a personal best restring the school record to 27.43

Jacob Hun (8B) 200- 14th place

Langdon Hays (8B) 800- 27th place

Alexis Taynor (7G) High Jump - 6th place 🏅at the last event of the day after sitting outside in the sun for over 8 hours.

MS Track update from State Day 1

Great day today to start out our state track meet.

Alejandra corpus (7G) - long jump 6th place 🏅with a jump of 4.53m (14’ 10.5”) a personal best and a new School record!!

Liam Boles (8B)- Discus 12 place with a throw of 39m (127’ 11”)

Bryson Hun (8B)- 400 8th place 🏅 with a time of 54.49. A new personal best.

Great job team!

A bittersweet week as we wrap up our final days of school! 💙 SVMS loves celebrating our 8th graders and watching them grow, mature, and spread their wings as they head off to high school. We are so thankful to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! To our amazing 8th graders — we love you, we are proud of you, and we will miss you dearly! 🥹🎓💙

SVTC MS Track - SECTIONALS NEWS!

It was a crazy weather day at Sectionals in Tuscola! What started out with sunshine, moved into a 3-hr rain delay, then running in wind and rain...but FINALLY turned into finishing the day in perfect weather.
The 11-hour‼️ sectional resulted in 9 events, comprised of 8 athletes qualifying for the State Meet next weekend. 💪⚡️🥇
Of our 8 athletes who qualified, 4 were named sectional champions, and another had the honor of breaking a school record held since 2015!
