The Village of Illiopolis will hold a public hearing on Monday July 20th at 5:45pm at Visitation Hall, 420 Anne Street. The meeting explains the $1.5 million-dollar federal funded Grant Project for Watermain improvements the Village is applying for. We encourage anyone who received the income surveys to attend this brief meeting. This will allow you to hear about the proposed project and express your views. A good attendance will help the Village's application. Hope to see you there!!

Village of Illiopolis will be flushing Hydrants on Matilda street (only Matilda Street). This will occur on July 17th - from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm

FYI residents are allowed 3 bulk item pickups a year thru GFL. Please exercise this so all residents have a chance to utilize the dumpsters.

The Village has issued two solicitors permits to Conxxus, they are allowed to go door to door from 10 AM to 5 PM .

 We Need Your Help to Improve Our Water System

Our community has an opportunity to receive funding for critical watermain upgrades—but approval depends on resident participation in a short income survey.

The more responses we receive, the better our chances of qualifying for the grant.

* The survey is quick and confidential
* It does not affect your taxes or benefits
* It helps bring funding into our community—not out of it

If you’ve ever wanted better water reliability, pressure, or infrastructure—this is a real chance to make it happen.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. It truly makes a difference.

Not all residents received these income surveys as only income surveys are needed from the people on the routes that the water mains are on.

A few board members will be doing door to door greets within the next few weeks, if you still have your old income survey from the first time it was sent out we would love for you to fill it out and drop it off at the Village Hall. If not, those board members will have some with them to provide new ones.
