🚰Notice of Temporary Change in Water Disinfection Process🔔

From July 13 to August 17, we will disinfect the water with free chlorine rather than combined chlorine/ammonia (chloramines). The change will begin at 8:00 a.m. on July 13 and we will return to normal disinfection at 8:00 a.m. on August 17. This a routine process that we conduct twice a year.

Update - Water Service Interruption:
On Monday, June 29, from 7:30 AM to approximately 10:30 AM, water service will be temporarily shut off for residences located on 13th St. SE and several businesses located off of E. Main St. as highlighted in the images. We do not anticipate any disruption to sewer service during this time.
This interruption is necessary to allow the new housing development, Wave at Rose, to safely connect to the existing utility system. The work will be performed by the developer’s contractor. If you have any questions or experience any issues during this timeframe, please contact our office.

Reliable water service starts with preparedness. As hurricane season begins, we encourage our customers to review emergency plans, stock essential supplies, and stay connected for important service updates.

The 2026 Atlantic hurricane season just started, but Florida is dedicated to disaster preparedness all year round. We always plan for the worst that nature can throw at us, and we execute those plans to ensure effective response, recovery, and restoration.

I encourage all Florida residents and visitors to have a household plan for hurricane season that considers the needs of children, seniors, and pets in their family. Disaster preparedness essentials—including many pet items—are now tax-free in Florida.

Make sure to follow and your local emergency management for important updates heading into this hurricane season!
