We are saddened to share that we have lost one of our De Anza Rescue Unit members, Michael “Mike” Seitz. Mike first applied to DARU in March of 1977 and went on to serve our community for more than three decades with dedication, humility, and heart. His commitment to helping others reflected the values DARU stands for, and his presence will be deeply missed. We extend our sincere condolences to his wife Sherry, his family, friends, and all who had the honor of serving alongside him. Rest in peace, Mike Unit #5— thank you for your service.
