During the August 19th City Council meeting, the Friends of Imperial Parks presented the City of Imperial with a generous $35,000 donation in support of the IID GLOW Grant.

These funds will help provide upgraded lighting at Joshua Tree Park, enhancing the park for our community and helping create a brighter, more welcoming space for all to enjoy.

We are incredibly grateful to the Friends of Imperial Parks for their continued generosity and commitment to our community. Together, we’re making a bright difference in Imperial! 💙✨

🚧 Landscape Maintenance Work – HWY 86

Please be advised that landscape maintenance work is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, along HWY 86 from 15th Street to 12th Street.

🔸 Due to new signage, the turn lanes from 2nd, 4th, 10th, and 12th Streets onto HWY 86 will be closed from 5:00 AM–7:00 AM.
🔸 The 15th Street turn pocket will remain open.
🔸 Work is expected to begin in the early morning and continue through the afternoon.

Please slow down, use caution, and allow extra travel time while crews are working in the area.
