📸 Clean air in our community! 🌬️✨

On June 8th, Madam Mayor Ida Obeso-Martinez testified before the Assembly Natural Resources Committee in support of SB 675, authored by Senator Steve Padilla. 🏛️🙌

Right now, our local air district board is made up of just 5 county supervisors. SB 675 would change the game by expanding that to a 10-member board. This means equal representation for:

👥 The County

🏙️ Cities within the county

🏡 Local community members

Why does this matter? This restructuring is all about creating an open, honest, and transparent air district. By bringing more voices to the table, we can fight for better air quality and a healthier future for all our residents! 💚🌱
