The Grayson County Department of Elections announce a Special Election to be held on:
🗓 Tuesday, April 21, 2026
This election includes a statewide referendum on a proposed amendment to the Constitution of Virginia.
🗳 OFFICIAL BALLOT QUESTION:
Question: Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia’s standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?

Early voting continues through Saturday, April 18, 2026,
during regular Registrar’s office hours.
Monday-Friday 8AM until 4PM
Saturday April 11th & 18th 9AM Until 5PM
🕐 Election Day Polls:
Tuesday, April 21, 2026 — 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
📍 Voters may cast their ballot early at the Registrar’s Office beginning March 6 or at their assigned polling place on Election Day April 21st, 2026.
